Tickets Now on Sale - Playboy of the Western World

As the club continues to celebrate it's 80th year, tickets are now on sale for our latest production,"Playboy of the Western World".
We have a guest director for the show, Raymond Omodei.  Raymond is a life member of the club, where he began his involvement with shows, before going on to work in professional theatre.
"Playboy of the Western World", written by J.M. Synge, is a three act Irish play, that has been performed many times, including at the Sydney Opera House.  Set in the 1900's, it follows the life of a young man, who claims to be responsible for a murder.  Keep enthralled as you follow his story, listen to the tales and maybe even witness a romance.
"It is an audaciously ironic play in which the audience, along with Shawn Keogh, is asked to accept a morality that is utterly mad. Because of a supposed brutal murder, a man becomes the hero of an isolated community of peasants...."
"The play is a hallowed classic of the Irish theatre and has behind it a formidable tradition of memorable productions and performances."
Play Director Raymond Omodei

The show opens on October 10th, and runs for 4 nights:
